NYC

While we were on our 4 week vacation Ray and I slipped away to New York City without children. It was nice to get away. We did alot of walking. We had a great time. From the cab ride from the airport, there was an earprint on the window, to Ray trying to leave me on the subway it was fun. We have lote of pictures and lots of stories. Here are the pics. Just call and ask for the stories.

PA Pics

We spent several days with my grandparents. I am so blessed to have them around. I am very upset with myself becuase i took no pictures of my children with their great grandparents. I did however take pics of us at Hershey. Yum Yum.

Fun at Mamaw and Papaw

We spent a week with Ray's parents in Portsmputh Ohio. Here are some pictures of the kids while we were there.

We are Home!!

We are home from our 4 week vacation. We spent lots of time with family and Ray and I took a short trip to NYC without kids. It was a fun trip but we are glad to be home. I have spent the past two days unpacking and cleaning and I am not done yet. We have friends from college coming to visit next week. I will probably have things back in order just in time. I have so many pictures that I will probably have to post several slide shows. So here goes. I will start with the Memorial Day parade. It was my kids first parade and they loved it. I think they loved the candy throwing better!

Hello from PA

Hey Y'all We are one week into our 4 week trip. There won't be any pictures because we left the cords to our camera at home. Once the battery dies I'm not sure what we will do. We are having a great time. Great quality family time. We spent last week in Portsmouth, Ohio with Ray's parents. We went to a Memorial Day Parade. It is the longest running parade in the USA. We were there for 2 hours and when we left they were still parading around the town. We are visiting my grandparents in PA currently. The kids are loving watching the Amish drive their buggies by the house. Tomorrow we are going to Hershey to tour the chocolate factory. YUM! YUM! I love it there. I will try to blog some more later on and if I can figure out how to get the pictures from my camera I will add some pictures.

Preschool Diploma

Wednesday was preschool diploma day at North Metro Baptist Church. They have small ceremonies in the classrooms. Eli's teacher , Mrs. Thomas, gave each child their own award. Eli got the Best "Guess What" Story award. YES, he is a talker. She said every day he would try to sneak into class. He would come up behind her and say Mrs. Thomas guess what. She said she would try to sit next to him during craft time because the things he says are so funny. You never know what is coming out of his mouth. My mother in law says he is just like Ray was. (Still is!!!!!) Off we go to Kindergarten in the fall.
Eli's friend Matthew. They have been in the same preshool class for two years now. They will go to different schools in the fall. They both are very upset about this.

Labor of Love

We wanted to buy a play set for the kids. We didn't want to spend a lot of money. Ray said he could build one and he did. It is amazing what comes out of his head. He did a great job. He built the swings Mother's Day afternoon and every day for the rest of the week when I would get home from work there would be a little more added. He finished Friday afternoon. It has swings, a slide, rock wall, fire pole, and zip line. The kids love it. I can't keep them inside. Ya'll come play!!!

Field Day

Ray went to field day with Levi. They had a great day together.

We are nearing the end of baseball season at Hebron. Levi was nominated for Pee Wee All Stars and Eli had his first hit in the game off the pitcher and not the tee. We are so proud of both of them. I wanted to post some more pictures of our boys playing the game.

Caidy is TWO!

Today is Caidy's birthday. We had a small party for her and it was a blast. She is such a sweet little girl. If you notice there are no pictures of Levi. He was at his sisters party but his best friend who he doesn't get to see much was there and they played the whole time. He was never where the camera was. Enjoy the pictures.

The School year is winding down. I am ready for summer break but I can't believe another year is over. My little Eli will be off to Kindergarten in the fall. As you all know they grow so fast!!!!!

Wildlife

This moth was on the back of the house tonight. It is the biggest moth I have ever seen. When I took the picture of it I was amazed at how much it looked like a leaf. What the picture doesn't show is that the to[ of it looks like a stick. I love seeing Gods hand through nature.
This cardinal started coming to the back deck. Since we put out the bird feeder he visits daily.
Our new house comes with some creatures. Check them out.
